Hemispheres Academy

Hemispheres Academy is a U.S. nonprofit organization that offers American K-12 online educational programming for globally-mobile and expat families that are in transition, posted to countries without adequate schools, or looking for stable online or alternate schooling option for their children. We utilize globally-minded educators to provide a program based on the Virginia Standards of Learning with a global perspective. We provide flexibility, inclusion, community, and stability to our nomadic families.

A student-centered, problem-based approach will ensure that students learn content and skills in each core subject and can apply that knowledge within and outside an educational setting. Our school helps shape internationally minded individuals with a deep understanding of the world we live in. In short, Hemispheres Academy supports students and families through transitions, provides academic and emotional consistency, and ensures a high quality education.
