2024-25 Admissions Fees:

New Student Application Fee: $300 each

Full-Time students (Grades 2-12)

Standard-aligned core instruction through accredited Calvert (K-5) and Edmentum (6-12) curriculum and credentialed teachers. Includes: Curriculum Modules for 4 Core Content Areas and 2 Electives, Learning Management System, course instruction through live and/or recorded lessons, ERB Assessments (baseline & end-of-year), Edmentum ExactPath diagnostic interim assessment (similar to IXL and Renaissance STAR), Google Schools suite, Zoom.

Hemispheres Time Cohort-based programming is also included for full-time students: Credentialed K-12 teachers provide in a small group setting music, art, Physical Education & Health, and Cross-Curricular projects that integrate community building and social-emotional development, aligned to Virginia Standards of Learning. Regular individual coaching is provided to keep students engaged and on track toward meeting learning and personal development goals.

Full-Time K-5 Calvert Curriculum + Hemispheres Cohort:

$6,305 per term $10,797 per year

Full-Time 6-12 Edmentum Curriculum bundle + Hemispheres Cohort:

$7,007 per term $12,797 per year

Additional courses for Full-Time students:

$400 per course per term

Part-Time and Individual Courses (Grades 6-12 only):

Core Content courses, self-paced with live or recorded lessons and regular scheduled meetings with a teacher-coach:

$895 per course per semester (Fall and Spring)

Note that some courses, such as Algebra I require two semesters to complete.

Hemispheres has rolling admission with entry points throughout the year. We offer a full class program with individual and small group “Hemisphere Time” for reviewing, re-learning, and connecting. We are committed to a flexible, inclusive, collaborative, and personal approach to online education.
