May is Mental Health Awareness Month, which is a great time to focus on practical ways to help support students with everyday healthy habits, communication, and ways to decompress. Supporting mental health does not need grand gestures, but small consistent actions can make a significant difference. 

Knowing what helps students’ day to day is an important:

  • Predictable routines

  • Sleep

  • Movement

  • Social Connection 

  • Habits that help decompress
