Join the 2025 Summer Reading Program!

Hemispheres Academy is excited to partner once again with the Foreign Service Youth Foundation (FSYF) for the 2025 Summer Reading Program—a global celebration of books, stories, and summer adventures!

The Summer Reading Program is designed to keep young minds engaged, curious, and connected during the summer break. Whether your child is just learning to read, devouring middle grade novels, or exploring classic literature in high school, there’s something in the program for everyone.

Who can participate?
The program is open to all students currently enrolled at Hemispheres Academy, members of FSYF, and non-member Foreign Service families. If you're not yet a member but would like to join, you can become a member through the FSYF website and gain access to this and many other programs.

Why join?

  • Set and reach your own reading goals

  • Win fun prizes (like an e-reader!) for participation and milestones

  • Share your favorite books and write reviews

  • Join in our reading BINGO challenge

  • Attend our “meet the author” event!

The program runs from June 1 to August 31, and it’s totally flexible—you choose what to read, how much to read, and when.
